After completing the Learning English & Learning Maths Course, learners will be awarded with the National Open College CPD certificate. The certificate will provide proof that you have studied the course and will contain your grad classification level. You can use the certificate to showcase your skills during job or academic interviews or part of your portfolio of evidence.

The certificate will be produced in PDF format free of charge; hard copies of the certificate will be available for an additional fee of £9.99 per course.

Please note:

The Learning GCSE preparation courses outlined here helps students to prepare for the GCSE exams however students should note the course is NOT a formal GCSE on its own. Instead this course helps learners prepare for studying their GCSE courses using the most recent information taught in the GCSE national curriculum, using our interactive student learning online facilities, with the support of tutors and online assessments to practice answering test questions based on the National Curriculum. In order to receive your official GCSE qualification, the final GCSE exam MUST be taken in a formal approved centre that will supervise, authenticate and mark the controlled assessments.

Assessments

The Learning English & Learning Maths Course is assessed by a series of multiple choice tests and online assessments. These test are marked instantaneously. No external examination is required.

At the end of each module on the course, learners will take a multiple choice question assessment. This series of regular assessments will test your knowledge and skills on the main learning points from each module to ensure you have retained strong knowledge and understanding on each topic.

Once all of the end of module tests have been completed on the Learning English & Learning Maths Course, you will take a final assessment. This final assessment will contain questions from the entire course and assess your ability to fully understand the concepts contained within the course. A mock test will be available for the Learning English & Learning Maths Course final assessment, so learners can familiarise themselves with the question styles.

Study Method

The course is designed for online studying through our Student Study Portal. Students of the Learning English & Learning Maths Course will receive all course materials online which offers 24/7 access to the course, plus tutor support via email.
